Dear Friends and Guests,

It’s hard to believe that four months have passed since the fire on June 30th. For those who may not have heard, we experienced a fire during dinner service that began outside when a coal from our outdoor smoker ignited the wooden privacy fence. The fire spread to the kitchen ceiling and attic, affecting roughly 30% of the restaurant before being quickly contained by the Windsor Severance Fire Department. While the fire caused significant structural and smoke damage throughout the restaurant, we’re deeply grateful that no one was injured—that will always be our greatest priority. Since then, we’ve been hard at work rebuilding Chimney Park. As part of this process, we’re also expanding and improving the space. We’re enclosing the back patio, extending the kitchen, and expanding both the bar area and the “Nook” dining room to increase seating and comfort. Our fine dining experience will remain at the heart of Chimney Park, but we’re re-concepting the bar area to create a more casual, walk-in dining atmosphere. Details to come soon! We anticipate construction to continue into the spring and are hopeful for a grand reopening in April 2026. We’ll continue sharing updates through our website and this email list.
